At Suiderberg we are alive with cultural activities, we are skilled in Singing, presentation and Poetry.  The school can brag with a choir as well as a Revue.

Our flagship is our participation in the Eisteddford, we not only present the competition on our schoolgrounds but we boast with mass participation of about 300 learners yearly.

In 2019 our Choir received an A+ and our vocal group received the honour of an A++.  The boys achieved an A++ and we can also brag with 3 A ++’s and 3 A+`s as well as 2A`s.  We also received A++  at Instrumental as well as Revue.

The oral presenters and as well as the actors can brag with A++.  With reading we achieved no less than 10 A++, 35 A+, 41 A’s and 20 B’s.

Poetry received 8 A++, 15A+, 21 A’s as well as  3 B’s.

We are very proud of our learners’ exceptional cultural abilities.

We have 258 learners participating this year and so far the solo singing, drums, gumboots, revues and dance groups have achieved the following good results:

2022

This year we participated in the Eistedfodd competion in the following categories: Music (Solo signing and drumming) , Dance (Gumboots, revue, dance group and Culture dances) , Art, Prepared reading, Poetry, Dramatized Poetry and Speech Choir. An astounding 285 learners competed in the Eisteddfod against 7 participating schools.

The following were accolaids were racked up by our learners: 30 A++, with 6 category winners, 38 A++ and a astounding 35 A’s we are extremely proud of these learners.
